Marly Youmans is the author of eight books:  Val/Orson, a lovely limited edition volume from P. S. Publishing (U.K.); The Wolf Pit (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 2001); Catherwood (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 1996); Little Jordan (David R. Godine, Publisher, 1995); two collections of poetry, The Throne of Psyche (Mercer University Press, 2011) and Claire (Louisiana State University, 2003); and Southern fantasies, Ingledove (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 2005) and The Curse of the Raven Mocker (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 2003).
